Just as no one can ever take the place of Marilyn Monroe, there will never be another Dian Fossey. God Bless her always.

Gorillas! I live in San Diego. I go to the Zoo often. I have had the opportunity to learn several of the individual personalities of the Gorillas. It is facinating how much they are like us.
I hope that we may keep Dians spirit/mission aiive so that we may do more to protect these amazing creatures!
Great video! Thanks PBS

I Miss Dian Fossey DEARLY I agree with you because most people are scared of gorillas to get to close to them and she did it she was brave and helped gorillas in many strong and helpful ways Thank you Dian Fossey

i think everybody should watch gorillas in the mist, it is one of the best movies i have seen. i think the fact dian played a huge role in the safety of gorillas from poachers helped the gorillas to survive, despite her tragic death i think that Dian Fossey is one of the best people ever to set foot on the planet

The gorillas are fine, maybe Fossey should have stayed out of the country.
