dog breeder?

hi i have been wanting a dog and found out the one i want,(i can care for it)but i cant find one breeder not ONE!! i have been looking and looking but no luck.the dog i want is a bohemian shepherd but i cant find one and theres no shelters that have them .i live in the united states please help
the bohemian shepherd had the perfect temperment, the coat i like, the attitude, protection ability, the training easy, likes a long walk, and gets a long with cats

If you can’t find one, you can’t find one for a reason. Try visiting your local animal shelter. I guarantee you’ll find 1 or 2 that you want to take home that will make you forget all about bohemian who haa over there. : ) How could you not want to take home one of them instead? By the time you find the ‘reputable breeder’ your looking for 20 of the dogs in your local animal shelter will have been pts (Put To Sleep) for no reason other than to make room for new ones because nobody wanted them…that’s sad…trust me I know.

you can go to an animal shelter or a pound if ur willin to help the dog…but by goin to the pound u can save an animal cuz the put thme down if no one adopts them…so if i were u i would go 2 the pound no even if it mit take some time 4 the dog … but u’ll love it in the long run

You can’t find one because they are primarily found in the Czech Republic and a few European countries. There may only be a handful in the US.
Why this breed? Why not a Belgian Shepherd or other breed of similar size and drive???

Try having a look at your local humane societies and shelters. If you are dead set that is the breed you want, check the AKC web site, or play on google with “bohemian shepherd rescues (your city)(your state)” or “bohemian shepherd breeders (your city)(your state)”. I put a link below that is very informative on how to find out if the breeder is a reputable one once you find one.
