Blaidd can I ask where you got yours and anyone else that answers, please?
Blaidd, sorry for all the questions but do you have any secrets on keeping yours so healthy? What diet do you feed them?

Hey!!

Well, I had two gerbils, one died in February but the other is still alive and is still going strong at the age of four years and three months!

I love gerbils soooo much. They are easy to tame, quiet, clean, they rarely fight each other. Mine haven’t had any health problems at all (apart from a case of heart-stoppage….. :-/ ) But the other one is fine after four years. He has been a fantastic pet and I will love to get more!

I got mine from Stapeley Water Gardens pet shop in Nantwich!

Here are a couple of pictures for you!

Here is the one that is still alive now:

Here is the one that passed away:

EDIT:
Don’t worry about all the questions! I am happy to help. :-)

I feed my gerbil Wagg rodent food which he loves, I also give him chew toys. Occasionally I give him rodent chocolate treats, yoghurt drops, and milk drops. He enjoys a bit of toast every so often too!! Oh, he also enjoys a sand bath. You can see it on the 1st picture… it is just a bowl with chinchilla dust in. He rolls in it, then decides it is a good idea to kick all the sand out and sit in the bowl for awhile…
