try tying a piece of string to the handle of the lid and then tying the other end of the string to a pole or a strong chair or table leg. Maybe use rope instead of string for toughness. Or even wedge the suitcase into a corner so that it cant close accidentally.

what do you know? with a tail like that, it could have genes from a chow or pomeranian. purebred chihuahuas dont have curly tails. it could have genes from any other breed, but they just dont show in apearence. you do not know dogs
