So are the nuts, not sure about the carmel. Once my german shepard had gotten into no bake cookies and the vet said to take the dog outside, make it drink peroxide, then it will throw up the chocolate, nuts, and carmel. As for the nuts, I give my dog peanuts all the time, and it hasn't hurt her yet!
