The awesomeness of the footage is worth more the mouse’s life. I have a pet dog, who I love, but if I had the opportunity to film my dog getting eaten by a Velociraptor I would do it without pause.
That’s not cruel….that’s nature. This is what happens when you have a prey species as a pet and let it “play” outside. Kid and dad just learned a hard lesson. I’m kind of envious that they got to see the hawk make the grab at such a close range. Must have been pretty hungry to have taken such a risk. They probably helped the bird out a little.

Why do any of you sad, sick people find this funny? Somebodys pet who they probably adored was cruelly snatched from right infront of them. That kind of thing messes people up.
