Rats urinated in our hallway ceiling how do we get rid of the smell. We also have rats that died under our home its on piers but too tight to go under and find the dead rats is there anything i can throw under to help with the smell…

You can use Nature’s Miracle, from a pet store, to get rid of urine smell. Vinegar will work for this too, but then you have the vinegar smell. But it’s better than urine smell. And you can get rid of vinegar smell by using a solution of baking soda and water.
Dead rats Under the Floorboards, that is going to Stink and breed Maggots and Flies too. It isn’t just a scent, it’s a dead animal.
Your best bet, if you can’t get them out, is to encourage the local ants to take care of them. Don’t use any ant poison; just let them clean up the dead rats. They will do a good job, given the time. They may leave the bones, but that won’t smell. I’ve found rat and even cat skeletons cleaned up by ants.
