What are the different types of dangerous animals and plants are in Scotland? ?
By
So I am going over to scotland to live on the land for a week or so.. I was wondering if there are any dangerous wild animals I should be careful of, and what plants are dangerous so I don’t eat them, If anyone knows a few please tell me. Thanks

Some Glaswegians can be dangerous particularly if you hang around the Gorbals at 11 pm on a Friday or Saturday night. Also, avoid wearing green if you are in the vicinity of Ibrox Park and avoid wearing blue if you are in the vicinity of Celtic Park.
If you go into the Highlands and, specifically to Loch Ness then going swimming may bring you into an encounter with the “Wee Beastie”.
With these exceptions, there is very little likelihood of encountering dangerous plants or animals in Scotland. Hope you enjoy the breath-taking natural beauty of this wonderful country.

Not much at this time of year.
The only really dangerous animal is the adder – a poisonous snake.
Plants – well if you are going to live off the land, I expect you already know which plants are dangerous – hemlock, deadly nightshade, poison ivy, certain toadstools and mushrooms. I’d also avoid shellfish on certain beaches as they could be polluted.
If you are going over at this time of year you are going to find it hard to live off the land.
