By Cow

Hi, also just wanted to say I am only asking because I am making dog crafts and trying to figure out what would sell best by asking about the breeds. Thanks!

Just a thought…I hope you aren’t asking because you want to get a “popular” dog breed. A breed should always be got because the person admires the characteristics of it, not because every other person on the block has one.

or1088’s answer is completely right, couldn’t agree more

3

LABS && RETRIEVERS

4

I think the Golden Retriever,people love this breed als house pets, the are very friendly, and good with little children.

5

Labs, chihuahuas, poodles, mostly happy go lucky dogs people think are cute.

-edit- Oh you’re making crafts? Ummm German Shepherds, Rottweilers, Golden Retrievers, Labrador Retrievers, Poodles, Cocker Spaniels, Chiahuahuas, Yorkshire Terriers, Beagles, Dachshund, Boxer, Shih Tzu, Mini Schnauzers.

I agree with or1088. Also, consider adoption. There are plenty of amazing mixed dogs that need a good home. Not to mention that if you’re really set on a pure breed, there are pure breed rescue organizations. There’s no need to buy from a breeder with so many homeless dogs out there.
But to answer your question: mutts. Less than 10 percent of the world’s dogs are pure breeds.
And to more specifically answer your question, since I’m guessing you were looking for a pure bred answer, this is the top three breeds, in order, based on a recent vetrinary magazine I read: labrador retrievers, golden retrievers, and german shepherds.
