What would you do if you saw a BIRD carrying away a CAt?

By Cow

I heard someone talking about the issue, that sounds tragic… I guess it coudl happen to all sorts of creatures in our non-vegan world… to picture a bird eating a cat, that is just horrible… I guess it’s just as bad as pictureing a cat eating a bird or a rabbit or a human eating a bird or a cat or a rabbit or what have you…

But what would your initial response be if you saw a BIRD carrying away a cat?

RURAL SUBURBS
I heard of people who instead of having a TWO car garage decided to turn one hald into a CAT HAVEN and just get by with a ONE car garage,,, what do you think of that? Well, there coudl be plants and ramps and rocks and I don’t know, lighting and water… but them we have to ask ~ where will that lead us? That is not the real solution it is just for now, I mean I thought of people who helped MONKIES who escaped from the zoo or from EXPERIMENT LABS and they were able to give haven for them on their premises… I surely do hope for VEGAN AWARENESS all around… hope in peace ,, hope in healing … hope in greater awareness.,, there is no “natural order” whihc involves murder.. that is a misguided notion

I think that happened to some celebrity’s pet. I would be freaked out beyond belief.

2

Eagles can do that.
Nothing one could do. They swoop and the animal is airborne.

I’d probably be like “whoa is that a CAT?” and then “poor cat…..” But I wouldn’t be very surprised, birds of prey carry away all sorts of animals, and especially if it’s a kitten, it’d be easy for it.

Get sleeping pills and go to bed hopefully I’ll forget it when i wake up

5

Its just an imagination. So i feel that the era of animal habitat has changed.

6

It’s the natural order…. who cares?

7

Celebrate! I’ve seen far too many cats prowling the fields for young animals(rabbits, birds, etc.) I would consider it part of nature’s balance. ;-) =

8

I would rush to get my camera!

I know it’s always sad to see anything being killed but atleast it’s the natural thing, not like humans hunting when they don’t need to.

9

I don’t mean to be insensitive to cat-lovers, but I think I’d fall down laughing.

I will help the cat somehow

I would be thankfull because birds of prey are awesome creatures! Beautifull and very usefull to control the population of pest species such as rats, mice, and those most evil house cats.
House cats kill anything they can jsut to kill. I think people should never ever let thier cats outside. and all domestic cats that are outside should be eaten by the local birds of prey and other predators. Or at least caputred and nutered so they go extinct in the wild

It happened to me in florida. big bird swooped down and grabbed the cat and flew off. we tried to follow the bird but we lost him over the bay. I could not believe my eyes. I loved that cat.

My initial response would be total shock! However, with that being said—I live in the Pacific Northwest, and we do desperately try to warn everyone who has a cat to PLEASE keep kitty inside (even in the garage)–especially during the night. Owls are one of our biggest predators and they are nocturnal hunters.
