writing a kids story about the animals in the rainforest?

im writing a story for a childrens novel about animals in the rainforest. I need some inspiration for the main topic in the book. The story is a picture book and only needs to be around 200 words. I have the idea of three monkeys named Milly, Molly and Mandy. Does anyone have a story plot suitable for a child?
yes the story has to be about the actual animals and there surrounding environment, so humans can’t be included and its only a short story suitable for children

Does it have to be set in the rainforest?
Because i was going to say that you could make it sort of like madagascar or over the hedge. Have an array of different cool animals and make them all go together into the forest and have a happy ending.

The boy is going through the rainforest on an epic quest to find some bananas. The monkeys are defending their food and using whatever weapon they can find.

You could do a morality tale (maybe see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil type of theme since you are using monkeys) that talks about a person’s responsibility within a community.
For example, loggers are chopping down banana trees. The three monkeys see this happening and debate about whther or not they should take the bananas or whether they should go back and tell their parents/community.
