ninja turtles 2 movie
The lush green vegetation reflects the dull evening sunrays . The drive to Murchison falls is made livelier by scores of baboons breastfeeding their babies on the road and the more daring ones making love oblivious of the passersby. A group of warthogs pass by showcasing their funny looking teeth the only feature distinguishing them from pigs. We are told warthogs are the lion’s most delicious meal. The beautiful scenery of the park is made lively by different birds near Sambiya Lodge, and before Red Chilli camp. Murchison Falls National Park is bisected by River Nile and to access Paraa Lodge is by ferry. The ferry is always busy with tour vans carrying hundreds of tourists. A boat ride upstream is also intresting .One of the big boats is named Kiboko (Swahili for hippos). Here visitors are expected to meet the dominant animals on the river — hippos. In Alur, a local dialect, Paraa means the place of hippos (Pa-place and Raa hippos) Before long the hippos are joined by the crocodiles basking in the sun with their saw-like teeth bared out. This takes a three-hour ride to reach the foot of Murchison Falls. From a far one may see the cloudy waters of the falls that gave it a beautiful rainbow as water droplets are reflected by the sun rays. IWhile on the game drive, a number of baboons and warthogs are viewd as well as ,giraffes. The giraffes are such majestic creatures that the catwalk must have been copied from their swagger. As the giraffes catwalk, there are also Uganda kobs, who have a habit of building their toilets on the roads. In the direction of Packwach are dangerous animals in the park the buffalo. These, you learn, are leopard’s easiest prey because of their tiny neck.

Bat For Lashes – Horse And I (+ LYRICS)

Horse And I, an amazing song by Bat For Lashes from the album Fur and Gold. Turn on annotations for lyrics! Or see below… Got woken in the night, by a mystic golden light. My head soaked in river water. I had been dressed in a coat of armor. They called a horse out of the woodland. “Take her there, through the desert shores.” They sang to me, “This is yours to wear. You’re the chosen one, there’s no turning back now.” The smell of redwood giants. The banquet for the shadows. Horse and I, we’re dancers in the dark. Came upon the headdress. It was gilded, dark and golden. The children sang. I was so afraid I took it to my head and prayed. They sang to me, “This is yours to wear. You’re the chosen one, there’s no turning back.” They sang to me, “This is yours to wear. You’re the chosen one, there’s no turning back.” There is no turning back. There is no turn. There is no turning back. There is no turn. There is no turning back. There is no turn
The Lion King Has a Roaring Broadway Success

Remember the naughty little Simba and his friends Timon and Pumbaa? Well, well, who can forget them! They have managed to steal the hearts of kids as well as adults by their mischievous ways and a knack for attracting trouble every now and then.
The “Lion King” is here once again! This typical Disney film, depicting the tale of strong bonds between friends and family, has many awards to its credit, including six Tony Awards. This adorable story of a lion cub was released first in 1977 in Minneapolis. After tasting a huge success at the box office, it shifted to Broadway in a few months time. For the last ten years, “Lion King” has been running successfully in the world of Broadway! At present, it’s being shown at Minskoff Theater.
The story of “Lion King” is based in Africa. It’s all about Simba, a cute and extremely mischievous lion cub, who is the successor of the king’s throne after his father, King Mufasa. Simba has a best friend Nala, who is equally mischievous.
Everything goes well until one day, Mufasa’s brother, Scar, plots to kill Mufasa and his son in order to become king himself. He generates a stampede with the help of a group of cunning hyenas in which Musafa gets killed. However, Scar convinces the poor little Simba that he’s responsible for his father’s death, as he could not save him. He tells Simba to leave the place forever, as the other lions would never forgive him.
As Simba runs away scared, he comes across Timon, a meerkat, and Pumbaa, a warthog. They all become close buddies. Simba grows up with them far from his kingdom. After many years, he meets Nala, who informs him about the sorry state of his kingdom thanks to the evil Scar. Simba has to go back and save his kingdom. After all, he is born to be the king.
“Lion King” is a unique Broadway production. The major attraction is the clever usage of animal masks by the actors on the stage. Besides this, the show makers have used African masks as well as puppets to create a visual masterpiece, as acclaimed by some critics.
“Lion King” has famous numbers like “Can You Feel The Love Tonight”,
“I Just Can’t Wait To Be King”, and the evergreen “Hakuna Matata”.
As you watch the show, you can actually feel emotions erupt within you as the story slowly unfolds. You feel hatred towards Scar when he conspires against Mufasa; you feel sympathy with Simba when he leaves his kingdom; you feel joy and happiness when Simba makes new friends; and you feel enthusiastic and eager to see action when he goes back to get his kingdom. Truly a touching story!
No wonder it is running house full! Don’t expect to get tickets on the spot. Book in advance. Either go to the box office or book online, or call ticket booking services to order them. Forget tickets for weekends and Sundays. Look for week days shows now. You might have a better luck there. Happy viewing!
